My Shabby cottage studio

I have finally finished the floor on my studio. I was so undecided on what I would put down. I finally decided to paint the concrete in white high gloss acrylic and it looks fantastic. It was also much cheaper than the timber floor I was contemplating.
I am just thrilled with my studio and spend a great deal of time ust relaxing in this lovely garden setting. I am now spending a lot of time in the garden getting the cottage look happening. It will go so well with the studio, give that real homely peaceful feeling.

I just love this style, white on white. I have been going through some old magazines and came across these shots. They are so peaceful and beautiful.

Well the studio cottage is just about complete. I just have the floor covering to decide on and a little more painting to complete. I have painted the concrete for the time being until I decide. I will post some pictures shortly so you can all see how gorgeous it is looking. Lots of white and of course pink in various shades. My little baby takes up permanent residence on the lounge whenever I am working in my cottage. I now how my computer fully operational in my cottage. The wonders of wireless broadband. I highly recommend it to everyone. I have recently installed my new lounge in the cottage which is just beautiful. I still am in the process of making scrummy cushions for it, however keep changing my mind on the style of cushion.

Thought I would tell you about my little baby. He is a poodle cross with lots of attitude. Has a woollen coat, so he doesn't shed or smell. He is 6 years old and rules the house. When I say attitude that's the truth. I wish he could talk, because he practically does in his doggy language. He is such a sweet little fellow and a great companion. Always 2 steps behind you and nose in anything you are doing.(can I help mum). The only problem with little dogs are they are prone to teeth problems. His mouth is too small to chew bones, so he gets plague. Last year when at the vets having his teeth cleaned he had 10 removed. He now has a few problems chewing his food, so I have to cut it up very small.
